Skills and experience range from the development of long term business strategies, real estate developments and general management of long term projects.  Management skills have been acquired over the last 18 years in the course of varied work conducted as a Senior Manager with Price Waterhouse (PW) European Financial Services practice, and as managing director of an IT services and consultancy group.  Consultancy assignments have been conducted throughout Western and Eastern Europe, USA, the Middle East and the Far East.

Partner in a consultancy practice providing services to the banking industry, Price Waterhouse group and International funding agencies.                                                   

• Leader of project team and institutional expert working for the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).  Prepared detailed investment proposals for the Russian Minister of Finance concerning EBRD investment  (($50m) in 55 Agro-Firms responsible for seed potato production in seven states (oblasts) within the Russian federation.

• Mass privatisation project for Romanian government funded by the Overseas Development Agency (ODA). 

• EC Phare Project to provide training programme for Romanian Banking Industry. Developed course, and managed training of senior bankers involved in lending to Food Processing industries and Agriculture.

• Developed the national strategy to improve a key element of Romanian agriculture.  The project involves the restructure of the national potato industry to serve the quality requirements of a large food processing industry.  An essential element of this project is establishment of 20 production, marketing and distribution companies to manage the national production of seed potatoes. This $115m project is the cornerstone of a proposed $1.58bn industry and is due to commence in 1997.

• On assignment for Price Waterhouse and the National Bank of Kazakhstan, led a team to development of strategies and designs for national clearing and payment systems in Kazakhstan.
